QUALIFICHE DEL GRAN PREMIO MOTUL TT ASSEN: SESTA FILA

Si sono da poco concluse le qualifiche al GP Motul TT di Assen. Le prove
ufficiali sono state segnate dalla pioggia che non ha permesso al pilota di
effettuare non più di 8 giri, di cui il più veloce in 1 ‘39.555 p ortandosi in 16°
posizione. Simone Corsi quando stava per prendere feeling con la pista
oramai asciutta è dovuto rientrare ai box causa il maltempo. A tal punto le
gomme rain erano obbligatorie ma i tempi dei primi siglati con le slic
erano lontanissimi. Il team ha quindi ritenuto inutile montare le gomme da
bagnato poichè non si sarebbe mai migliorato il tempo fatto con l’asciutto.
Sperando che nella giornata di domani il tempo si stabilizzi, il team e il
pilota si sentono fiduciosi per una rimonta.

“Oggi è stata una giornata un pò strana causa le condizioni del meteo che
sono cambiate durante le qualifiche. Purtroppo siamo rimasti indietro
perchè nel periodo che la pista era quasi asciutta non ho trovato il tempo
per essere tra i primi. Poi quando ha ricominciato a piovere era troppo
tardi per diminuire il gap con i primi. Domani mattina sarà importante
trovare il giusto setup nel warm up per fare una buona partenza”.
QUALIFYING PRACTICE OF THE GP MOTUL TT ASSEN: SIXTH ROW

The Moto2 qualifyng practice at Gp Motul TT Assen has just ended. The
pilot did’t allow to carry no more 8 laps, because the official tests were
marked by rain. He will start from 16th positions. When Simone Corsi was
going to take feeling with the dry track, he had to return to box for bad
weather. In that moment the wet tires were obligatory but the laps time of
the first pilot were too far away. Then the team considered unnecessary to
mount rain tires because we couldn’t improve the lap time done with the
dry track. We’ll hope that tomorrow the wather’s stabilize the team and the
rider are confident for comeback.

“Today was a little strange day because the weather conditions have
changed during the qualifyng. Unfortunately we have fallen behind
because in the period that the track was almost dry, I could’t find the time
to be among the first. Then when the weather started to rain it was too
late to lessen the gap with the leaders.Tomorrow morning will be
important to find the right setup in the warm up to make a good start”
